This call comes in the wake of India’s decision to ban Pakistani shows and artists in the country.
The Uri Attacks in Kashmir have claimed more than just the lives of the slain Indian Army officials. The attacks have again tensed up the situation between India and Pakistan.
It all started with a brutal attack on an Indian Army regiment in Uri, which claimed the life of 17 soldiers. Angered by this attack the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) demanded that Pakistani artists in India leave the country and also gave them an ultimatum of 48 hours.
And the decision to ban Pakistani artists working in Bollywood, officially came out on Thursday and was taken by the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA).
In retaliation to this, Pakistan too has banned Indian content being aired in their country, starting withBollywoodd films. This ban has also been extended to the television industry there as well. And if this is the case, Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss Season 10 will not be telecast in Pakistan.
And the reason for this is that many Pakistani nationals have made their displeasure evident on twitter and raised objection to the Salman Khan show being aired on Pakistan Television because their artists have been banned in India.
Earlier in the day, we reported about Zindagi Channel taking off the telecast of Pakistani content from their channel and replaced it with fresh Indian shows
