Zindagi presents the complexity of a mother-daughter relation in ‘Meri Beti’

Zindagi’s new show ‘Meri Beti’ defines the complex relation between a mother and a daughter who have been forced to stay away from each other because of unavoidable circumstances. This emotional drama starring Sabreen Hisbani, Samina Peerzada, and Arij Fatyma will premiere on 10th August, and air every Monday to Saturday at 9.50 PM only on Zindagi.
Saba (Sabreen Hisbani) is a divorced single mother who lives with her mother (Samina Peerzada) and her 4-year-old daughter Iraj. Saba is an independent woman who happily takes care of her mother and daughter, but her mother wants Saba to get married again and start a new life. Saba’s mother promises to bring up Iraj as her own and forces Saba to leave her 4-year-old daughter and lie to her new in-laws. Saba, for the love of her mother, agrees. Her in-laws and husband think Iraj is Saba’s younger sister. Though Saba is living a very happy life with her husband and their two kids, the guilt of leaving her daughter always stays in her heart.
Will Saba ever tell Iraj the truth about their relationship? What will happen when Iraj finds out that her mother and grandmother have lied to her for all these years?
