Shakti Arora:
I am very close to my parents. They are my lifeline and would want them to be with me my entire life. My parents were quite strict when I was young. They used to not allow me to spend money but, now I realise that they did it for my betterment. They have brought me with good manners. I learned to be calm and patient from my mother, while dad taught me everything about banking and finance. Today, whatever I am, it is because of them.
Aishwarya Sakhuja:
My parents were strict in my foundation years, when they thought they were building the basis of my personality and my future. After the passing away of my mother, my father allowed me to make my own mistakes and to learn from them. He was always there to hold me, but he made me understand the power of decision-making. We share a strong and honest bond.
Rachana Parulkar:
My parents are pretty chilled-out. I had to never ask for things as they would give me without asking! They allowed me to become an actor. I am lucky to have them as my parents. We share a very open relationship where we discuss each and every thing. To be grounded and keep family well-bonded is what I have learned from them.
Dhruv Bhandari:
I share a great bond with my parents. My mom and dad are my mentors, who keep guiding me. I have learned all the things from them and the most important thing is to become a better human being.
Divyanka Tripathi:
My parents are my best friends, my inspiration and my motivation to be good. They have been strict in my formative years (and I thank them for that!), but they have been lenient and understanding when needed. From my parents I have learnt the importance of Karma. I have grown up to be patient and a family oriented person.
Dheeraj Dhoopar:
I can’t live without my parents. They are my backbone, who have always supported me. They are always there to help me. The best part about them is that they trust me. My parents are very proud of me and I am lucky to have them in my life.
Happy Parents’ Day to all!!!
