It hasn’t been a pleasant one for all the people associated with the show..
Zee Tv has been all guns blazing recently, where it launched a new show, ‘Sanyukt’ a while back and aired ‘Zindagi Ki Mahek’ yesterday.
While, ‘Zindagi Ki Mahek’ has been the talk-of-town for its fresh casting and novel concept, the first episode that aired yesterday was appreciated too.
But, it seems not everything is going well for the show as the cast, crew, and makers of the show have been facing SEVERE PROBLEMS already..
Don’t worry, we are not talking about fights, ego issues or tantrums. In fact, we are talking about the epidemic of diseases like dengue and chikangunya that have been spreading like wildfire lately.
And as we are aware that the cast of ‘..Mahek’ has been exclusively shooting in Delhi, things got worse. As unfortunately, Delhi is currently the hub to all these diseases and shooting in Chandni Chowk increases the chances to fall sick.
A casualty has already been confirmed as co-producer of the show, Mr. Sumeet Chaudhary has succumbed to chikungunya.
We contacted Karan Vohra, who plays the male lead of the show, where he confirmed that, “Yes, Its true. The whole cast and crew has been asked to take all the possible measures to protect themselves from the virus, especially to cover their body as much as possible, which includes wearing full sleeves, covering faces etc. But then, that’s all one can do. If it has to happen it will happen as it is in the air and you never know when it would contract you.”
He added, “Recently we were shooting in Chhatarpur, Delhi, where there is a lot of greenery and of course, that increases the chances of having such diseases. Hence, we applied creams and were very careful while shooting. Hopefully, there aren’t any more casualties.”
We too wish the same Kunal and wish the cast and crew all the luck..!
