The CEO and MD of Rajshri Entertainment is no more..

The news of someone’s death always shocks and stuns one and all, irrespective of any relationship.

And today, the entertainment industry lost a gem. The CEO and MD of Rajshri Entertainment, Mr Rajjat Barjatya breathed his last today.

Responsible for making Rajshri Entertainment, one of the leading production houses in India, Rajjat was the son of Ajit Kumar Barjatya and a pivotal member of the Barjatya clan.

Apart from being the pillar of Rajshri Entertainment, Rajjat was also the founder and managing trustee of the Rajshree Foundation. The elite production house is responsible for giving us iconic films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ among many more.

Rajjat was diagnosed with the disease of leukemia six years ago in 2010, where he managed to battle the disease after fighting with it for six months. However, not so soon ago, the disease was relapsed where a bone marrow transplant was needed. Inspite of repeated efforts, the family couldn’t get a bone marrow transplant soon enough, where Rajjat passed away yesterday at Jaslok Hospital.
