Beautiful and talented actress Toral Rasputra or more popularly known as Anandi of Balika Vadhu (Sphereorigins) fame will soon be seen essaying the role of a mother of young children in the show. But in real life, she is yet not ready for motherhood.
Toral, who tied the knot in the year 2013 mentioned, “I am not planning for any child as of now. I feel myself to be lucky enough for receiving my family’s support, but I don’t think that I am being able to give them enough time. When I get some time I love to spend it with my family.”
Interestingly the show is set take a leap of eleven years, where the daily will again be focusing on the issue of child marriage, where Anandi’s daughter will be seen becoming the victim of the same plight.
Speaking about the leap, she said, “I think this is the right time to take a leap for the serial. After doing a role for such a long time every actor feels a bit monotonous but this is a challenge for us to essay the role differently every time.”
We also quizzed the actress about performing the role and she said, “You always work under pressure when you step into anyone else’s shoe. And it was indeed difficult for me to fit into Anandi’s role as Pratyusha (Banerjee) had already made a mark of her own in the show. But I believe that the content in this show is what matters the most. And that is the reason why it is continuing for such a long time.”
The talented actress also shared her experience of shooting with the veteran actress Surekha Sikri for the first time. “I was literally shivering while shooting the first scene with Surekha ji, as I was nervous about performing in front of her. She is such a wonderful performer that she can enact the same scene in different ways and each one will be worth watching.”
Toral, who herself is a trained dancer in both classical and western form expressed her eagerness to participate in dance reality shows. But we guess that it will be difficult for her fans to see her performing with her husband in couple dance show, as she declared her hubby dear to be a camera-shy person.
We wish the actress all the best.
