7 years for Taarak Mehta; Producer Asit Modi visits Mathura temple

The cult comedy show on SAB TV, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah by Neela Telefilms which has achieved enormous success will complete seven years tomorrow (28 July).

To celebrate this special occasion, the producer of the show Asit Modi has gone to seek blessing of Lord Krishna in Mathura.

Mathura is said to be Krishna’s birth place and Asit wanted begin the show’s eighth year by praying to Krishna.

Towards the end of tomorrow’s episode, viewers will get to see few glimpses of Mathura as Asit Modi will talk about the show’s success. A special footage reviving the memories of the seven glorious years will also be presented via a special video.

Talking about this Asit shared, “Krishna is recognized as the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and we are also entering our eighth year. So I visited Mathura to seek blessings from God. I am happy that we completed this extra ordinary mark of seven years and we promise to continue the laughter riot in the coming years.”
