Birthday girl Drashti Dhami is a favourite with all of us. The newly married actress, who’s been having a good run on the personal and professional front, celebrates her birthday today. Here are five reasons why we live her…
Her childlike innocence:
Her candor and naivete will make you fall in love with her. Whenever she’s on the screen, she exudes warmth and purity. May be it’s the way her characters have been or it’s Drashti’s natural acting, we wouldn’t know! But whatever it is, we are happy that her simplicity is the highlight of her shows. Two thumbs up to you, lady!
Versatility:
She can act, of course. She can dance and host too. Her versatility makes her one of the few successful faces of the small screen. We absolutely love how she switches from a daily to a royal magnum opus in a jiffy. Not many are blessed with such a talent. Drashti is indeed lucky!
Acting chops:
This is a well known trait, girl! The pretty lady owns her scenes like no other. In fact, as the titular Madhubala, Drashti made heads turn for her acting abilities and natural beauty. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that she is one of the finest actresses of TV today. Agree, fans?
Her beauty:
With a striking face like hers, winning the hearts of her fans isn’t that difficult. She has the grace, poise, and elegance to play any and every role with ease. Her quintessentially Indian face can launch a thousand products. But don’t categorise as only desi because she looked fabulous in western outfits on Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa too! Atta, girl!
Her dialogue delivery:
She knows how to deliver her dialogues without going overboard. She keeps it crisp, natural and very believable. In fact, her mesmerising voice in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani instantly transports us to the palatial gates of Ranaji and Gayatri.
Happy birthday, Drashti! May god bless you.
